The Southern Magnolia Havanese Club is a regional club for Havanese owners in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. In December of 2007 the SMHC was formally recognized by the Havanese Club of America, the official AKC parent club for the Havanese breed. 
YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN US!
We cordially invite those of you in our area to join the SMHC. It is a place where pet owners as well as experienced breeders and exhibitors can socialize, exchange information and take advantage of a network of people with years of Havanese experience. ABOUT US
Not too long ago the Havanese breed was relatively rare in our part of the country. In true southern fashion, Havanese exhibitors at the local dog shows sought each other out, shared meals and stories, tips and information about our beloved little dogs. This camaraderie expanded over the years along with the number of Havanese owners. In the spring of 2005, we decided to formalize our get-togethers and create a club where pet owners and exhibitors alike could share their interest in this delightful breed.
